There seems to be no diagnosis that fits. I have characteristics of type 2 bipolar, schizoaffective, Borderline Personality Disorder, Gender Identity Disorder, and Aspergers, but nothing characteristic of one single diagnosis.
There are millions of people who suffer from mental a mental illness in the US. And there are those of us, with backgrounds of countless hospitalizations and med changes, who can’t put a finger on a group that’s like us. Undiagnosed does not mean you’re alone. You may not fit entirely in one place, but you understand bits of everyone. Complex. You’re complex. And that may be scary, but it’s you. Keep talking. Keep believing. Someone will understand somewhere.
