Mr Michael L BA. CPS
Bi-polar disorder makes a person either hurt themselves or want to hurt others. There is a constant undercurrent of anger that is bad for your health. I have had a lifetime of suicidal thoughts/ no actions thank goodness, and I did drugs many years past where I should have. Lack of trust and anger make it hard to work for someone because if you don’t fit in you are fired. I found that I needed and had a power greater than myself because as I would mess up I was always bailed out in some way. I have found much success in small businesses I started and each lasted about 5 years each. By being self-employed getting fired is less likely as risk is spread out among many people/customers.
Focus is concentrated on business and not yourself which is serious when mental illness exists.
