Peer Supporter
Almost seven yrs ago I was in the hospital and that is when I found out I was bipolar. I am a dual diagnosis with substance abuse as well. after being sober and taking my medications as prescribed, going to all my visits with my psychologist when scheduled, I know have my own Radio Show on Addiction/Mental, and I am a Peer Supporter. A job I love with all my heart and soul. I get to encourage, offer hope, to those who believe life is hopeless. Life is not hopeless and there is a way to get better, and I found that I am privileged to be a part of recovery for people that think life, people would be better off without them. There is HOPE! I get to deal it out!
