Living Life With Mental Health

Mental health is real. From depression to Autism, I’ve experienced some of things today in my everyday life. I was born with an mental health condition, Autism. It never easy for me to adjust. Fitting in with people, understand the world around me and having emotional issues, It took time and years for me overcome those struggles.

I never took no medication or have thoughts of taking my own life out or harming myself. That’s the coward’s way out. And my mom didn’t raise no coward, she raised a fighter and survivor. I took the punches but I always got myself back up. And i’m still here today fighting.

Mostly people don’t understand or see the signs of someone close to them suffer mental health not only Autism but ADHD, disorders from eating, bipolar, obsessive compulsive leading to causes of sleep and self harm. Throughout my life, I’ve achieve and succeed so much in my life from going to college, dancing, blogging my thoughts and feelings, earning top honors from Special Olympics to President Barack Obama, mostly going to therapy where it help me overcome everyday life problems to improve my everyday life.

In today’s world, depression and mental health is very serious but it is rarely discussed. Every minute, hour, day, month or year, individuals are in an state where people in the world give up on them with little of love and happiness they have in themselves end it all. It’s very important to let them know that they’re not alone, get them to talk or seek professional help before it’s too late.

Sharing my experiences on mental health can help open doors for people to let their voice out, get the help they need so they continue to find happiness and achieve success because God wants everybody to live and see a new day come.
