I always thought I had no chance to return to work after 10 years being unemployed. Hi, my name is Kevin and I live with schizoaffective disorder. After  being in and out of hospitals 6 times and myriad of medications I went to the VA

because I’m a veteran. I joined a job program and after 6 years it finally stuck and I am now a federal employee that struggles with symptoms everyday. Always remember there is help, NAMI is one of those places that I joined many years ago and a group leader changed my outlook on my future. I have a future now, I put my two feet forward and try to make a difference. It is my hope that others  can do the same. All the best, Kevin
