My Story *trigger warning*

Hello my name is Tiffany Rios I am 15 years old and suffer from depression, anxiety, ocd, and bipolar disorder. I was diagnosed with depression and anxiety in the second grade so it has been a while dealing with my mental health. Lucky for me my family also suffers with there own mental health issues so I was lucky enough to get help at an early age. I grew up with mentors and therapy for as long as I could remember.

By high school my depression and anxiety got worst and I attempted to overdose. This was December 8th 2017. I was then hospitalized for 12 days. As i came home the thoughts didnt stop and i was hospitalized 6 more times at the following. Making a total of seven hospitalizations visiting most of them twice over a period of six months. Today is August 5th 2018 and I have been out for 65 days. I am also 76 days self harm free. Due to my frequent hospitalizations I missed most of my freshmen year. I am currently looking at a smaller school so I am able to return to high school and get my life back on track. Although it may not seem as much progress to other people i see my progress witch in the biggest thing that matters to me. I am 15 years old and I am in recovery and even though I havent self harmed or been hospitalized does not mean that the road to recovery is an easy one. To everyone out there please know that you are loved, you mean something to someone, and you are worth so much more than the darkness in your life at the moment. Things will get better. Please stay strong.
