Hi, this is my first time telling my story I’m a little nervous so give me some time. so let me start out by saying my father’s mother was diagnosed with bipolar and so my father was as well out of 6 kids that my mother and father had i was the one who got it. I was diagnosed with bipolar when I was 13 years old. It was very lonely at time because my mom and step-dad didn’t know what to do or how to help. So after years of felling like i was alone, i met my husband. He is amazing I has helped me in more ways then he understands. So after 2 years of being married we had a baby. He is 10 months old, he is my pride and joy. It has been super hard to handle everything that is going on, with COVID, to my husband being deployed, to my son turning a year old, to moving for 6 months while he is gone. Slowly by surly I'n getting there, its not easy explaining this disease to people because most of them feel bad for you, its not the best feeling at all. Trying to explain it is even harder. Hopefully sharing my story will help someone and get them to share their story , don’t be afraid to reach out to me and talk, it helps to know what someone else is feeling the same way I feel.
Thank you for letting me share my story, I hope this helps someone.
