My story is simple, I was born with a mental health condition, but things are more intense than when I was younger. My symptoms have increased over the years, but now I have an awareness of them increasing and I know where to turn, when I am feeling lower than low. I know who to call. Even if I am laying low, I still reach out and try to make it through another day. But my story is sweet, and not so sweet. I know it can be hard in the streets, wandering around. Yes, that was me too, and I reached out called for help many a time. See, when you’re described as “Mentally Ill” life reaches out and grabs you, but you learn to cope, and make do in many things, places and bad situations. But the one thing you need to know is, you’re not ill! You’re just more incredible and smart, now that you know that what you have is a mental health diagnosis, not an illness. I was able to come to see this, and I still make it through, one more step, day by day…. #bethesolution #daybyday #onemorestep Thank you to everyone that makes up my support team! You know who you are!
